o Accept feedback gracefully if someone is not interested in you

2. Behavioural Standards:

o No rudeness, vulgar or inappropriate language, especially in early contacts

o No unsolicited intimate pictures

o Be open, honest, and kind in all interactions

3. Participation:

o Engage in social activities and events organized by the society

o Members can propose and organize new activities with founders’ approval

4. Inclusivity:

o Be open to all

o Be open to only socializing, dating or both

5. Conduct at Events:

o Follow the rules of conduct at all events, including paid singles nights

o Respect the role of wing people and their non-single status

6. Conflict Resolution:

o If a relationship or interaction doesn’t work out, part ways respectfully

o Founders will intervene if necessary to uphold the society’s ethos

Members who do not adhere to the society’s code of conduct will have their membership terminated. This includes:

• Engaging in disruptive behaviour

• Repeated failure to treat others with respect

• Violating the no ghosting policy

• Disrespectful communication or harassment

The decision of founders on termination of memberships if final.

Members can also voluntarily resign from the society by notifying the co-founders in writing. We expect any members who enter a relationship to terminate their membership, but would welcome them joining us at events as ‘wingpeople’ to share their experiences, whether they meet someone through the society or elsewhere.

Wingmen, Wingwomen, Wingperson -these are non single people who will attend our events to help people feel welcome, to help people connect and find common ground, to help the singles mingle. They are also there for people attending on their own, so you know there will be a friendly face who is not single and there simply to help you. They will be on hand to chat, laugh and dance and you can even use them to tell someone single that you like them if you want to. 2 types of wing people:

1. Bring your own wingman/wingwoman/wingperson – Their tickets are half price or at least reduced as they still get a fab night out after all.

2. SSS Wingpeople – They will be friends of ours. They will be social and outgoing and they are there to help others mingle.
